CSM Group of Companies expands leadership team with the hiring of vice president

To better support the level of organizational growth in the past year, CSM Group of Companies has hired Heather Martin as a vice president. In her role, Martin is responsible for creating and executing operational efficiencies for CSM Group and Compliance One Group and will play an integral role in growing business and leveraging opportunities with new and existing clients for both companies. She also guides operations and project staff development by identifying skill needs, delegating tasks appropriately, and motivating staff to provide outstanding client service. Martin comes to CSM Group of Companies with more than 20 years of operations and executive leadership experience in the architecture, engineering, and interior design space. Most recently, she held the role of chief operating officer at a Kalamazoo-based architecture/engineering firm, where she oversaw several departments, including marketing. She holds a master’s degree in business and organizational development from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from Central Michigan University. CSM Group of Companies promotes Holly Hagerty to talent acquisition manager

To strengthen the company’s effort in finding and acquiring skilled human labor for organizational needs, CSM Group of Companies has promoted Holly Hagerty to talent acquisition manager. Hagerty holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in human resources management from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and recently earned SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Certification. In her new role, Hagerty will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle recruitment process and serving as a key partner for hiring managers and the human resources team to identify, attract, and acquire top talent to support the organization’s staffing needs. Her primary buckets of responsibility will be recruiting, onboarding, and training and development, which includes sourcing, screening, and conducting and coordinating interviews, and coordinating the 90-day onboarding process.

CSM Group of Companies welcomes Taylor Hatten to the team

CSM Group of Companies is pleased to welcome Taylor Hatten, sales and marketing coordinator, to the team. In her role, Hatten will serve as a liaison between the sales and marketing departments to maintain consistency among key stakeholders. She will work closely with each company’s sales teams to respond to requests for information and/or proposals, prepare presentations, and ensure information with the customer relationship management (CRM) database is accurate and up-to-date. Before joining CSM Group of Companies, Hatten worked at StructureTec Group in Kalamazoo, MI where she provided marketing support to five business divisions and three subsidiary companies.

CSM Group of Companies promotes Makayla Fleetwood to accounting analyst

CSM Group of Companies is proud to announce the promotion of Makayla Fleetwood to accounting analyst. In her role, Fleetwood will be responsible for the accounts payable invoice function of business operations to ensure the company’s expenses are paid accurately and on time, as well as administering lien waivers and assisting with billing processes, as needed. She will also serve as the sole administrator of Expensify, the company’s expense reporting software. Most recently, Fleetwood served as the company’s accounting coordinator. In the four years that she has been with the company, she has been instrumental to the company’s accounting department, having assisted with processing checks, posting and tracking waivers, and maintaining departmental organization. Fleetwood graduated from Western Michigan University in June of 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accountancy.
